Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ACX Converter, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of ACX Converter for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • Modify or copy the materials
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
  • Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on the website
  • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
3. Service Description

ACX Converter provides MP3 to ACX audiobook standard conversion services. We offer:

  • Free trial conversion (1 file per user)
  • Basic subscription: 10 conversions per month
  • Professional subscription: Unlimited conversions per month

Refund Policy

Important: No Refund Policy

All sales are final. ACX Converter operates under a strict no-refund policy once you have downloaded more than two (2) files, including your free trial conversion.

Detailed Refund Terms
1. Trial Period Usage

Every new user receives one (1) free conversion as a trial. This trial conversion counts toward your total download limit for refund eligibility.

2. No Refund Threshold

You are NOT eligible for any refund if you have downloaded more than two (2) files total, including:

  • Your free trial conversion file
  • Any files converted under paid subscriptions
  • Files downloaded from any plan (Basic or Professional)
3. Refund Eligibility Window

Refunds may only be considered within 24 hours of purchase AND only if:

  • You have downloaded 2 or fewer files total (including trial)
  • Technical issues prevent service functionality
  • Service was charged in error due to payment processor malfunction
4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Change of mind after using the service
  • Dissatisfaction with conversion quality (use trial first)
  • Failure to understand subscription terms
  • User error in file preparation or upload
  • Completed conversions that meet ACX standards
  • Any usage beyond the 2-file download limit
5. Refund Process

If you believe you qualify for a refund under the strict conditions above:

  1. Contact support within 24 hours of purchase
  2. Provide your account email and transaction ID
  3. Explain the technical issue preventing service use
  4. Allow 5-7 business days for review and processing
6. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges, but:

  • No refunds for partial months of service
  • Access continues until current billing period ends
  • Cancellation does not qualify for refund of current period

Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, make a purchase, or contact us for support.

Audio File Handling

Your privacy is paramount:

  • Audio files are processed temporarily and automatically deleted after conversion
  • We do not store, listen to, or analyze your audio content

  • No backup copies of your audio files are maintained

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties except as described in this policy or with your consent.

  • Processing audio for legitimate audiobook production
  • Commercial use of converted files you own rights to
Prohibited Use
  • Converting copyrighted material without permission
  • Bulk processing for resale of conversion services
  • Attempting to reverse engineer our conversion algorithms
  • Using automated tools to abuse our service

Service Limitations

Technical Limitations
  • Maximum file size: 100MB per upload
  • Supported format: MP3 files only
  • Processing time varies based on file size and server load
Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows and unexpected downtime may occur.

Limitation of Liability

ACX Converter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
